To do this, the British East India Company successfully used “Divide and Conquer” tactics to increase their control over entire regions of the Indian. This strategy entailed fanning the flames of religious division between native and groups, and taking advantage of the political rivalries that existed between local native rulers.
Due to this many middle eastern countries still hold grudges towards many European nations mainly India towards England. They feel as if European nations disrespected there culture and tried to change there ways. Which in some aspects are true they took advantage of other countries for there own needs and never bothered to pay for the other nations resources which they were using. Today nations trade freely an if one nation tries to take advantage of another well they either fix the problem with politics or war.
